AOMA serves as your eyes and ears on state and federal issues and regulations. Members have a strong voice during the legislative session with our full-time lobbyist and AOMA’s ability to rally grass roots support from our growing membership.

A Voice in Washington

AOMA is also affiliated with the Petroleum Marketers Association of America, head-quartered in Washington, D.C. AOMA members automatically become members of PMAA and are eligible to attend PMAA seminars, conventions and meetings. The biggest benefit of PMAA membership is the lobbying effort at the federal level.

Success Through Education

With the rapidly changing definition of the petroleum marketer, educational seminars are a priority with AOMA. Topics such as HAZ-MAT and Driver Safety are taught regularly across the state to keep your people on the road for you. AOMA also schedules seminars on current issues to give members additional insight on any new compliance problems.

Annual Convention & Trade Show

Each year AOMA features the finest in educational seminars as part of the annual convention agenda. Our jobbers, c-store owners and operators, and service station dealers have the opportunity to view the latest in equipment and services for our industry and get the chance to visit one-on-one with vendors and fellow AOMA members during our annual trade show.

“The Canopy” is our award-winning quarterly magazine that features news items exclusive to our industry.

Our Annual Membership Directory is a useful reference guide listing member company names, phone numbers and addresses.

The “AOMA Express” newsletter goes out to members whenever we have news to share, which is usually quite often.

Our new website “www.AOMA.org” features commonly used forms, industry web links and the latest AOMA events and seminars.
